Out of Focus

I'm feeling out of sorts today. I am having writing problems which are making me more anxious than usual.

I hate feeling out of focus. All is blurry and grey.

Rabbit Hole

When this song came out a few months ago I fell in love. Then I found other songs to fall in love with and this one disappeared into ipod shuffle land. But I then came across the trailer for a new film called Rabbit Hole based on a play of the same name. The story is sooooo personal to me that I spent an afternoon crying my eyes out. This song playing in the trailer had a lot to do with it. I intend of seeing the movie when it comes out (i think is a limited released film) but until then this song has returned to the top of my Ipod listening track.

Lights

Fall is here, which means Winter is coming soon. And my afternoons spent taking picture of the light in my room may come to a halt.

I sure am going to miss the sun when the clouds roll in.

Feeling Blue.

...I've been feeling blue lately. Which is not a good thing for a person with bouts of anxiety (and depression).

must get myself out of this funk before it simmers into something ugly.

This delicate yet sad song probably isn't helping much but it's soooo pretty. I can't help but lie around all day and listen to it.

Happenings.

Fall is here! My god it is chilly, rainy and windy outside and guess who has the next two days off. This chick.

I was suppose to tread into the city today but I sort of bailed on those plans. Outside of my detour there in a few weeks to catch a train to good ol' south carolina, I would like to visit the American Museum of Art to visit sir Edward Hopper's exhibit.

A day in the city usually consists of subway rides, picture snapping and a stop at a local deli. It has been a while since I've had a good turkey sandwich and of course any excuse to take pictures of things is good enough for me.

I need to figure out to do with this space.

Because I blog at 'Everything Was" I feel like I have abandoned Quiet Girl (which in all honesty was created after I thought I deleted Everything Was Beautiful a few years back).

So, I thought maybe I would post pictures instead on this blog. Where Everything Was is where I voice my thoughts. Quiet Girl will be where I post pictures from my everyday life.
